Learning Style Results
Getting to know your learning style can benefit you as a learner. After visitng the http://www.learning-styles-online.com/ and completeing the questionaire, the following results were determined
Visual 13
Social 13
Physical 14
Aural 13
Verbal 10
Solitary 11
Logical 9
Multiple Intelligence Test
After undertaking a series of questions on http://www.bgfl.org/bgfl/custom/resources_ftp/client_ftp/ksl/ict/multiple_int/results.cfm , I found that I was considered a kinaesthetic learner. This means that I best learn through the use of practical/ ‘hands on’ tasks. In my personal opinion, I thought this result was fairly accurate as enjoy getting involved in activities that require physical contributions in order to successfully complete tasks. Week 1- Blogs
What is a blog?
A blog is an online tool that enables people to effectively communicate with the world around them. It allows people to express their thoughts, share their opinions and discuss various topics in the form of an online journal/diary. People who use/comment on blogs are known as ‘bloggers’. These people are able to comment on others postings and provide links to other websites or articles that may be of use.
With assistance, a blog can also be used as a learning tool for educational purposes. In a school context, this form of technology would be useful not only to engage students in learning, but to create opportunities for students to reflect on their learning experiences and work collaboratively to discuss and solve current issues/events in today’s society.
Welcome Bloggers
Hi my name is Jennah Ritter and I am currently a second year Bachelor of Learning Management (Primary) student, at CQUniversity Rockhampton. As part of my ‘Managing E-Learning’ course, I am required to record my knowledge and understandings, on a range of activities that will assist me in my current and future studies as an education student/learner. Throughout this blog I will be posting many educational comments based on relevant information gathered through my university course, and from other reputable sources. Please feel free to comment on any postings, have fun and enjoy!
